Sherborn Man Hit And Killed By Car In His Yard

SHERBORN, MA — A 40-year-old Sherborn man was hit and killed by a car in his yard on Wednesday, according to District Attorney Marian Ryan's Office.

Sherborn police were called to Goulding Street just before 5 p.m. for a report of a pedestrian hit by a car. A 37-year-old Mansfield man was driving an SUV when he hit the Sherborn man in the man's yard — police said he also hit another car.

The Sherborn man was pronounced dead at the scene. The Mansfield man was taken to the hospital and arrested, according to the DA's office. He is expected to be charged with operating under the influence and additional charges in connection with the incident.
