SHERBORN, MA — Sherborn fire crews were ready to perform a water rescue on Wednesday when they received a report of a possible drowning and missing boater.
The report came from Farm Pond on Wednesday evening when someone thought a boater either drowned or disappeared and reported seeing a floating object in the water. Sherborn fire crews sent an ambulance and a boat crew out to investigate the report.
Personnel quickly found the reported missing swimmer, who was not in any distress. Personnel launched the boat and determined that the object was nothing of concern.
