Stock up on Firewood from Sherborn Forests

Firewood from the local town forest available for purchase and delivery from the town.

Fall means the weather is starting to cool off, which in turn means fireplace weather is coming soon.

For Sherborn homeowners with fireplaces, have you considered buying your firewood from the town? The town of Sherborn offers its Firewood program annually, which gives residents locally grown and harvested wood at below market rates, according to a press release from the town.

The town will deliver these orders of firewood, about a third of a cord of wood (one pickup truck-load). They are charging $65 for senior Sherborn residents, and $85 for non-seniors.

See the full release as posted on Hometown Weekly.

According to the Town Forest Commitee, 87 deliveries of firewood to residents netted the town $6,240 revenue to the Town.
