New Life Furniture Bank of Walpole, a non-profit organization, will be on-site at the Dover Transfer Station on Saturday, June 19 (Special Recycling Day), to accept furniture and household goods for families transitioning out of homelessness. The highest current needs are kitchen and electrical appliances, specifically coffee makers (no Keurigs), toasters, toaster ovens, countertop microwaves, blenders, food processors, slow cookers, fans, irons, and vacuums. If donating, please make sure the appliance is in working order and includes all parts. Please check their website for acceptable items. If an item’s condition is not suitable for a family member or friend, it is not suitable for donation. Dover residents are asked to volunteer at the Transfer Station to facilitate the drop-offs. Dover residents with red stickers only.
