Tree and Disoriented Goose Obstruct Traffic in Dover

The Dover Police Department provided the following information. Patch prints all arrests. Charges do not indicate a conviction.

Saturday, July, 20

6:01 a.m.: A caller stated that a tree is being held up by power lines and was about to fall on the road way at Main St and Pleasant St. Police created a detour, and the tree was removed from the roadway. 

7:32 a.m. A caller reported his one year old chocolate lab named Roxie has gone missing.

10:00 p.m.: A caller reported a disoriented goose was wandering into the intersection of Hartford St. and Walpole St., causing a traffic hazard. Police responded, but the goose was gone on arrival.
