2 large pears – peeled & diced small pieces
about 2/3 cup raisins

½ cup sugar or Splenda
½ cup juice – any kind or sweet vermouth or Marsala
You can make this several days in advance – it gets better in the refrig!
Wash berries – pick out any white ones.
Put all ingredients into small sauce pan . Heat, then turn to simmer for about 20 minutes. Cool in pot, transfer to plastic container. Store in refrigerator up to 10 days.
You could add more sugar while cooking if you like it sweeter
Serve at room temperature – Take out 2-3 hours before
