Charis Tournament Play Starts Today

2. LET'S PLAY BALL-Easton Youth Baseball will be hosting The 2013 Donald Charis Memorial Tournament at the Militia Park Complex over the next two weekends. The 10 & 12 year old tournament will be played Thursday, June 27 - Sunday June 30. The 9 & 11 year old tournament will be played Thursday July 11-Sunday, July 14.

3. TOUR THE MANSION- On Friday, June 28, from 3-3:30 p.m., learn about the history of the building of the Ames Mansion on this 30-minute guided tour of the home. First floor only. For adults and older children. Reasonable accommodations available upon advance request. Meet in front of the mansion. Rain or shine.

4. MEMORIES OF AMES FREE LIBRARY- As they celebrate their 130th birthday, The Ames Free Library's Oral History Project will be underway until Friday, June 28. The library has a camera set up in the alcove where people can share a favorite memory or two of the library.
