Easton Fire Department Welcomes New Chief
Chief Justin Alexander began his new position Monday.
EASTON, MA — The Easton Fire Department announced Tuesday that its new fire chief has officially been sworn in.
Chief Justin Alexander, formerly the fire chief in Plainville, began his new position Monday, May 3 and was sworn in at Easton Fire Station 3 Tuesday evening.
“I am thankful for the many valuable experiences I’ve had throughout my career in Plainville, and am honored to have this new opportunity in a great community,” said Alexander in a statement. “I’m looking forward to getting to know the members of the department and serving the Easton community.”

Alexander served with the Plainville Fire Department for 16 years and held multiple positions, including equipment coordinator, training officer, EMS coordinator, lieutenant and deputy chief. During his time there, he successfully lobbied to build a new Town Hall and Public Safety building with a firefighter training facility, helped develop a regional EMS training program, and conducted a biannual live-fire training program.
As fire chief in Easton, Alexander plans to implement a mobile integrated healthcare program within the department and examine infrastructure needs of the fire department, police department, and department of public works.

Alexander is taking over this position following the retirement of Chief Kevin Partridge, who worked in fire service for 36 years. s
