Easton Firefighters Meet With MA Delegates To Discuss Legislation

EASTON, MA — Easton Fire officials met with members of the state delegation Tuesday at the Quest House to discuss legislative priorities for the Fire Chiefs' Association of Massachusetts, said Easton Fire Department in a news release.

The state delegation members included Sen. Walter Timilty, Sen Michael Brady, Rep. Claire Cronin, and Rep. Carol Doherty, who were joined by Chief Kevin Partridge, the next Easton Fire Chief Justin Alexander, Deputy Fire Chief Jon Carroll, Dighton Fire Chief Christopher Maguy, and Fire Chiefs’ Association of Massachusetts Government Affairs Director William P. Scoble.

“We all would like to thank our elected officials for everything they do on behalf of local first responders,” said Partridge in a statement. “Their continued advocacy, as well as support and assistance through programs such as the firefighter equipment grant program, allows us to do our jobs more safely and more effectively."
