Easton Girls A Basketball Team Captures Metrowest Division 1 Championship

The Easton 6th Grade Girls A team recently won the Metrowest Division 1 Championship, relying on great defense and ball movement to defeat a very good Newton team in the finals, 43-27.

The win capped off a very special season for the girls, who went undefeated during regular season play in the highly competitive Metrowest League and then beat Westwood, Franklin and Newton in the playoffs.
This is the third straight year the team has advanced to the Division 1 finals and the second time they’ve captured the championship.
