Easton Motorcyclist Killed in Braintree was Weeks Away from Wedding

An Easton man killed in a collision in Braintree was only weeks away from his wedding.

Family members of James Oldfield, 32, told the Enterprise that he was scheduled to marry his fiance of 2 1/2 years in two weeks. After meeting while living in Quincy, the two moved to Easton in May.

Oldfield tragically lost his life on Tuesday when the motorcycle he was riding was involved with a collision with a truck on Granite Street in Braintree. No charges have been filed and the accident remains under investigation according to the Norfolk District Attorney’s office.
