Easton Police Log: OUI Arrest, Stolen TV and a Loose Pony

Monday- May 6, 2013

Suspicious Activity- 2:37 a.m.

Turnpike Street- Officer reported that a party was asleep in a vehicle in the parking lot of Hibernia Pub & Grille. Officer transported the party home. Vehicle was secured and left in the parking lot.

Larceny Under $250- 12:51 p.m.

Lothrop Street- Handbag stolen from a car. Credit cards and a Massachusetts F.I.D. card were stolen.

Health and Welfare Check- 4:56 p.m.

Main Street- Caller reported a possible intoxicated female under a tree at Sheep Pasture. Female shuttled home to Briarwood Circle.

 

Tuesday- May 7, 2013

Officer Wanted- 6:59 p.m.

Depot Street- Employee reported possible drug activity by a female in the restroom and requested an officer. Officer spoke to the female involved who was advised and was transported to a nearby residence in West Bridgewater. Vehicle was towed privately by the property manager.

Officer Wanted- 8:43 p.m.

Washington Street- Resident requested an officer for a verbal confrontation in the parking lot of El Mariachi Cantina. Officer spoke with both parties involved, mistaken identity. Both advised.

 

Wednesday- May 8, 2013

Animal Incident- 9:57 a.m.

Highland Street- Easton Fire Department reported a loose pony in the area. Pony was returned to it's residence.

Breaking and Entering- 1:24 p.m.

Baldwin Street- Homeowner stated that their home was broken into some time since the day before in the afternoon. The rear door was kicked in and a 42" Dynex TV was stolen.

 

Thursday- May 9, 2013

OUI Arrest- 1:32 a.m.

Belmont Street- Officer reported a vehicle that just pulled behind Honey Dew Doughnuts building. Patrick Sweeney, of 79 Westwood Drive, Whitman, Mass. was arrested for alleged OUI.

Vandalism- 8:08 a.m.

Bay Road- Party came into the station to report vandalism to four cars and a mailbox at a residence.

Motor Vehicle Offense- 8:46 p.m.

King Arthur Road- Caller reported an erratic operator driving on the wrong side of the road. Individual has some problems with vision. Advised.
