Easton Police Respond to Hit-and-Run Call

The following information was provided by the Easton Police Department. Those charged have not been convicted.

Saturday, June 8

Noise Complaint (12:03 a.m.) - A caller reported loud music comign from with the Hibernia Pub and Grille or a car in the parking lot. Officers were dispatched and found that there had been a live band playing earlier but that it had already finsished for the night.

Alarm Sounding (11:19 a.m.) - A caller reported that a house alarm was sounding near the intersection of Black Brook Rd. and Depot St. and that they saw a white male wearing Patriots gear hiding in the bushes. An officer went to the scene and didn't find a house alarm sounding in the area. He spoke to the homeowner, who stated that his car alarm had been going off earlier.

Sunday, June 9

Purse Stolen (10:04 a.m.) - A caller reported that her car was broken into while parked outside of Borderland State Park. The caller said her purse was taken.

Suspicious Male (12:41 p.m.) - A caller reported seeing a suspicious male on the back deck of a friend's house. The caller gave a description of the man and said that he then left. Officers went to the house but it didn't look like it had been entered. They looked around the neighborhood but didn't see any cars that matched the description of the man's vehicle.

Hit-and-Run (9:35 p.m.) - A Depot St. caller reports a hit-and-run involving a parked car. The caller didn't get a description of the car but from parts left behind it looks like it might be a black Ford with damage to the passenger side. Officers looked around the area but were unable to find the car.
