Easton Police Respond to Noisy Basement

The following information was provided by the Easton Police Department. Those listed as arrested have not been convicted of any crimes.

Wednesday, May 29

12:07 a.m.: A Brentwood Dr. resident called Easton Police to report hearing noises in the basement. Officers checked inside and outside the house but found nothing.

12:20 p.m.: A person came into the police station to report check fraud. On officer took a report.

Thursday, May 30

3:10 a.m.: A caller reported that a large tree was down in the road near the intersection of Bay Rd. and Beaver Dam Rd. An officer checked and found the tree to be near Buttonbush. The Easton Fire Department was notified. The tree was cleared.

7:30 a.m.: A caller from Colleen Mary Way reported that she heard screaming for the past 10 minutes or so. The caller thought it might be coming from behind her house. Officers checked, but all they found were a couple of kids on bicycles.

6:32 p.m.: An employee at Roche Bros. reports a domestic situation in progress. An officer was dispatched and found that it wasn't a domestic, but a father and daughter having an argument.

7:22 p.m.: A Bay Rd. resident reported vandalism to some turf equipment. An officer was dispatched to make a report.

7:38 p.m.: A caller reported a motorcycle crash near the intersection of Pine St. and Turnpike St. The caller stated that the rider was laying in the road. The Easton Fire Department responded. The operator of the motorcycle was medflighted to Good Samaritan Hospital.

10:30 p.m.: A caller from the NE Village Shoppes reported that three males had just smashed a car window and threatened them with a hunting knife in the parking lot. An officer was dispatched and searched the area for the suspects, but wasn't able to find them.
