Easton Residents Urged To Decorate Homes For Memorial Day
In place of a parade due to the new coronavirus health crisis, Easton residents are being asked to show their support for veterans at home.

EASTON, MA — While the Easton Memorial Day will not take place this year due to the new coronavirus health crisis, town officials are looking for ways to honor veterans and the families of deceased families that follow the principles of social distancing.
Residents and businesses are being asked to decorate their homes and business windows in honor of the military heroes. Those participating are also asked to email photos of their work to Cory Ahonen at cahone@easton.ma.us. Those with any questions are asked to call Ahonen at 774-273-1991.
In lieu of a parade, there will be a social distanced Memorial Day observance that is not open to the public, but that will be broadcast on ECAT and Easton social media.
