Easton School Calendar 2017-18: First Day Of School, Vacations, Conferences

The first day of school in Easton is August 31 for grades 1-12, September 5 for kindergarten and September for preschool. Feel free to mark it on your calendar as one of the most dreaded days of the year for students and teachers — and feel free not to feel guilty about marking it as one of your favorites. The Easton Public School District has released its 2017-2018 calendar for public schools.

The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

• 8/31: First Day for Grades 1-12

September

• 9.4: No School (Labor Day)
• 9/5: First Day For Kindergarten
• 9/7: First Day for Preschool

October

• 10/9: No School (Columbus Day)

November

• 11/10: No School (Veterans' Day)
• 11/13: No School for Students (Professional Development)
• 11/16: Grades 9-12 Early Release (Parent Conferences)
• 11/22: Early Release PK-12
• 11/23 - 11/24: No School (Thanksgiving Recess)

December

• 12/7 - 12/8: Grades PK-8 Early Release (Parent Conferences)
• 12/22: Early Release PK-12
• 12/25 - 12/29: No School (Winter Break)

January

• 1/1: No School (New Year's Day)
• 1/15: No School (Martin Luther King Day)
• 1/16: No School for Students (Professional Development)

February

• 2/19 - 2/23: No School (February Break)

March

• 3/22: Grades PK-5 Early Release (Parent Conferences)
• 3/23: Grades PK-12 Early Release (PK-5 Parent Conferences, 6-12 Professional Development)

April

• 4/16 - 4/20: No School (April Break)

May

• 5/11: Early Release PK-12
• 5/28: No School (Memorial Day)

June

• 6/7: Last Day for PK and K
• 6/13: Last Day of School (No Snow Days), Early Release for Students
