Easton Girl Suffers Life-Threatening Injuries In Crash

Easton police said the 17-year-old girl crashed into a Lincoln Street utility pole, splitting the pole in three places.

EASTON, MA — A 17-year-old Easton girl suffered life-threatening injuries when she crashed her vehicle into a utility pole Saturday night. Police and fire officials said the victim was alone in the Toyota Camry when she hit the pole on Lincoln Street around 6:40 p.m. The pole split in three places.

A helicopter was called for the victim, but pilot was unable to fly due to bad weather. The victim was driven to Good Samaritan Hospital in Brockton and later taken to Boston Medical Center.

The crash is being investigated.
