Easton Would Get $550k In State Economic Development Bill

The state House and Senate agreed on a $627 million economic development bill Wednesday.

EASTON, MA — The Massachusetts House and Senate agreed on a $627 million economic development bill early Wednesday morning, which would provide $550,000 for projects in Easton.

The bill, which was passed almost unanimously following a session that lasted until after 4 a.m., now heads to Gov. Charlie Baker's desk for approval.

The bill would provide funding for the following projects in Easton:

  • $500,000 for design funding for sewer, roadway, and pedestrian infrastructure improvement in Easton Industrial Park
