Easton's Grant Back with North Shore Navigators

Former Oliver Ames standout Ryan Grant will be at Campanelli Stadium tonight when the North Shore Navigators travel to Brockton to play the Rox in a 7 p.m.

After beng a temporary player with the Cotuit Kettleers in the Capte Cod League and appearing in one game in relief, Grant has returned to the North Shore bullpen. In his first appearance for the Navigators, Grant went two innings with three strikeouts, while giving up two hits and a walk.

Last spring, Grant was the closer for Wheaton College, recording 12 saves in 26.1 innings with a 2.05 earned run average. He had 15 strikeouts and walked 10 batters. Wheaton finished the season with a 32-12 record.

In 20 games last summer for North Shore, Grant worked 27.1 innings and had a 4.93 ERA.
