Ghostbusters Trailer: 2016 Movie Filmed in Easton

The new Ghostbusters trailer was released Thursday. The 2016 summer film was shot in parts of Massachusetts, including Easton.

EASTON, MA — Who you gonna call?

The first "Ghostbusters" trailer was released Thursday ahead of the 2016 film's July 15 premiere.

Film crews last summer shot in several Massachusetts communities, including Easton.

The film stars Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon, and Leslie Jones.

Filming took place in Boston, Weymouth, Waltham, Canton, Easton, Westwood, and Everett.

Some of the crews members even helped police catch a suspect in a violent assault:
