Jake Gyllenhaal Films Movie At Local Easton Restaurant

Think you might have seen a celebrity around town out of the corner of your eye? You may not be imagining it.

Jake Gyllenhaal is reportedly in filming scenes for the movie 'Stronger' in Easton this week. Filming is taking place at Buddy's Union Villa, a local restaurant.

According to Wicked Local, the restaurant is closed down for filming on Thursday and Friday this week, and will reopen this Saturday.

Gyllenhaal stars as the movie's protagonist Jeff Bauman, who lost his legs in the 2013 attacks. Bauman authored the book of the same name on which the movie is based.

'Stronger' will tell the story of how Bauman helped the police track down the perpetrators of the attack while learning to cope with his injuries.

Twitter user Liam Decko called this a "big day" for Easton.

The forthcoming installment in the Ghostbusters franchise also filmed in the Massachusetts town.

'Stronger' is set to come out in 2017.
