Market Basket's 25,000 workers are featured in "We The People," a documentary about their epic, successful 2014 revolt.
Market Basket workers' epic and successful 2014 revolt is the focus of the new documentary "We The People: The Market Basket Effect."
The film recently debuted at the Boston Film Festival. It will be shown at several New Hampshire locations, including Derry, next month.
Market Basket has 46 Massachusetts locations.

The film chronicles Market Basket workers' 2014 walkout, which captured global headlines. The workers—25,000 strong—demanded the return of fired CEO Arthur T. Demoulas, who was embroiled in a family feud with his cousin over control of the company. The revolt worked; Demoulas was reinstated. He ordered $50 million in worker bonuses that December.

The film is narrated by actor and Lowell native Michael Chiklis.
It will premiere in April in the following locations:
