Obituary: Anthony Silva, 101, Longtime Easton Resident

Anthony Silva, 101, a longtime resident of Easton and Hampton Beach, N.H., died on Nov. 29, 2013 at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton after a period of failing health. He was the husband of Hilda (Vieira) Silva for 74 1/2 years.

He leaves his children Robert Silva and his wife Marion of Rockville, Md., Donna Norris of Mission Viejo, Calif., Gerald Silva and his wife Katherine of Weymouth and Naples, Fla., Regina Silva of Whitman and the late Mark Silva, his grandchildren Mark Silva, Deidre McCahill, Sean Norris, Todd Norris, Michael Norris, and Scott Silva, and seven great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was the brother of the late Mary, Isabelle, Emily, John and Alfred Silva.

Relatives and friends were respectfully invited to attend the funeral from Kane Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 605 Washington Street, (Rte.138) Easton, on Thursday at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass in the Immaculate Conception Church, Easton, at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery.
