Obituary: Linda Ellis, 56, Lifelong Easton Resident

Linda M. (Gallagher) Ellis, 56, a lifelong resident of Easton, died  on Dec. 20, at home after a period of failing health. She was the wife of Gary Ellis for 32 years. Born in Norwood, June 7, 1957, a daughter of the late Raymond Gallagher and Mary Do Do (Cameron) Raymond, she was raised in Easton and was a graduate of Oliver Ames High School.

She continued her education earning an associate's degree as a dietary technician. An avid crafter, Linda enjoyed both quilt and jewelry making. In addition to her husband Gary, she leaves a son, Matthew N. Ellis of Easton; two stepchildren, Garrett Ellis of Wash., and Darryl Ellis of S.C..; a sister, Ann Spano of Brockton; a brother, Charles Chuck Gallagher of Foxboro; and two grandchildren, Brianna and Madison. She was also the sister of the late Sandra Olson.

Visiting hours were held Dec. 28, from 2 to 5 p.m. in Kane Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 605 Washington Street (Rte. 138), Easton. A funeral mass was held Monday, Dec. 30 at 10 a.m. in the Immaculate Conception Church, 193 Main Street, Easton.
