Police Log: Scam Phone Call, Suspicious Activity on Main Street, and More

The following is from the Easton Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned they do not indicate convictions.

Monday, October 7

1:36 p.m. Officer Wanted. Bay Road. Resident reports scam telephone calls and resident gave information over the phone, requests to speak with officer. Officer reports phone scam, officers advised.

4:11 p.m. Fraud. Resident into Easton Police Department to report credit card fraud. 

Tuesday, October 8

3:55 p.m. 
Suspicious Activity. Home Town Auto Shop, Main Street. Shop owner only wanted it logged that a male just attempted to take a metal dolly from the side of the building. Party left northbound on Lincoln Street in an older gold Saturn Sedan when caller approached him.  Party described as a white male in his 30s, 5'8" with long black hair and a scruffy appearance.
