Boston Harbor Distillery Tours & Tastings

Summer is here at Boston Harbor Distillery with tastes, tours, events, and more.

Recently opened at The Port on Boston Harbor in Dorchester, the distillery serves as both a distilling facility and an event space, tasting room and mercantile with essential tools and accessories for at-home bartenders, cultivating a community through classes, literature and education.

On Thursdays and Fridays from 4pm-8pm and Saturdays 12pm-8pm, guests can tour the beautiful 11,000 square foot space with expansive 40-foot ceilings. For $10, guests will see how spirits are made, smell the ingredients used to make them and taste three spirits and their choice of a seasonal cocktail (tasting portion) at the tasting bar and leave with a signature Boston Harbor Distillery glass.

Spirits are available for purchase including: Putnam New England Whiskey, Lawley’s New England Spirit, and Seymour’s Coffee Liqueur. Each spirit holds a historic namesake after early Massachusetts entrepreneurs who once occupied the same site: SS Putnam Nail Factory, George Lawley & Son Shipbuilders and Seymour’s Ice Cream.
