Boston Red Sox World Series Championship Parade 2018: Date, Route
The Red Sox rolling rally parade route, parking restrictions and date have been announced.

BOSTON, MA — The Red Sox have won the World Series. When will the duck boat championship parade be?
Sam Kennedy, president and CEO of the Red Sox, said after the victory the parade would be at 11 a.m Wednesday, Oct. 31. Boston Mayor Marty Walsh outlined the parade route Monday morning in a press conference.
The parade will start at Fenway Park take a right on Ipswich Street and a left onto Boylston Street. From Boylston Street the Duck Boats will move all the way to the Boston Common, then take a left on Tremont Street (opposite the flow of traffic), up to Cambridge Street and end at Staniford Street, the mayor said.

"To be clear, there will be no rally at City Hall Plaza, this is just the parade," said Walsh.
There are parking restrictions aplenty. You can see the full list at the end of this story.

The mayor asked fans to take public transportation into Boston, rather than drive in. The MBTA and commuter rail will have additional service, he said.
You can also expect extra transit security and additional police presence. The celebration Sunday night, while mostly peaceful, resulted in the arrest of a 22-year-old from Connecticut.
"Unruly behavior and alcohol consumption will not be tolerated on the MBTA," Transit Police Chief Ken Green said.
The Red Sox won the World Series with a 5-1 win over the Dodgers Sunday night. They clinched the series in five games, having just lost three total playoff games.
"This is an all-time great team that we had," Walsh said. "We are a city of champions, so let us celebrate like champions."
The Red Sox won the World Series in 2004 and 2013 against the St. Louis Cardinals and in 2007 against the Colorado Rockies. They have lost only three games between all four series.
In 2013 and 2004, the so-called "rolling rally" went down Boylston Street and dipped into the Charles near the Museum of Science. The 2013 parade kicked off at Fenway Park at 10 a.m.
