Boston's Middle Schoolers to Take Over Fenway Park

Hundreds of Boston's 6th graders will get the chance to meet the mayor, and, more importantly, Wally the Green Monster in the Fenway neighborhood on Thursday, when the city hosts its annual "Middle O!" program at Fenway Park. 

Students will get back-to-school information, school supplies and a t-shirt, free food, games and activities, health screenings and taking in the sights of Fenway Park. 

Mayor Thomas M. Menino, Interim Superintendent John McDonough Boston School Committee members and Red Sox mascot Wally the Green Monster will be on hand.
