Charity Drive for Kids Kicks Off Thursday in Fenway

Charity Drive Begins

The Home for Little Wanderers’ annual Back-to-School Drive kicks off today and will run through September 9, 2013. The family service agency helps more than 7,000 children and families living in at-risk circumstances each year. All donations of new backpacks and school supplies for youth of all ages can be mailed to or dropped off at: The Home for Little Wanderers, 271 Huntington Ave. from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. See here for more information. 


For the Teachers Out There

Researchers at Boston University are conducting a study about teacher responses to the Boston Marathon attack and the effects of the attack on students. The idea is to use the findings from this study to lead to the development and implementation of helpful services and supports in responses to future crisis events. Take the survey.

Free Concert in Copley

Happening today right next door to the South End will be a free concert featuring Panic! At the Disco. The concert, sponsored by Radio 92.9, will take place from 6:00pm to 8:00pm and is free to the public. Concert-goers will enjoy free samples Timberland, RCN, Sports Authority and many more while listening to new songs off of Panic! at the Disco’s upcoming album, Too Weird to Live, Too Rare to Die! See here for more details.

Tax Controversy
