Fenway Park Smoke: Evacuation After Electrical Short
The Fire Department was outside a smokey Fenway Park.
An short circuit sent smoke billowing out of Fenway Park early Wednesday afternoon, prompting a response from the Boston Fire Department and a brief evacuation of the home of the Red Sox.
The department said an isolated electrical short in the transformer room presented a "smoke condition" shortly after noon.
The smoke dissipated by 1 p.m.
