Fenway Pot Shop Closer To Final Approval, After ZBA Says Yes
A marijuana establishment could open on Brookline Avenue this year.
FENWAY, MA — The Zoning Board of Appeals Tuesday approved pot shop proposed for Brookline Avenue in the Fenway. Next up: The pot shop has to get a license from the state Cannabis Control Commission to open.
MedMen got the green light to convert the first level of a three story building from office use to Cannabis Establishment use at 120 Brookline Avenue, Tuesday. [Hat tip to Universal Hub for first reporting this] .
Once it gets the license from the state commission the company will then have to renovate the space, which could involve multiple inspections for compliance with the state’s list of regulations.

The 7,500 square foot shop's entrance would just off Brookline Avenue down the alleyway in an effort to help with lines.
Although the leaders of the California-based company denied allegations, the chain has been wracked with lawsuits accusing it of defrauding investors, underpaying employees and allowing rampant racism and sexism throughout the business.
