Former Red Sox Outfielder Otis Nixon Found 'Safe'
Nixon, who played a season with the Sox during his journeyman career, was reported missing Sunday by police in Georgia.

WOODSTOCK, GA – A former outfielder for the Boston Red Sox reported missing in Georgia has been found "safe," police said Monday.
According to a statement from police in Woodstock, GA, Otis Nixon was last seen leaving his home in Woodstock around 10 a.m. on Saturday. He was driving a gray 2011 Range Rover and had a tee time at a local golf course scheduled that morning.
Nixon was reported missing on Sunday.

He played in the MLB from 1983 to 1999 and spent the strike-shortened 1994 season in Boston. He hit .270 in 16 seasons with 11 home runs, 318 RBIs and 620 stolen bases.
