Muddy River Construction: Is It Bothering You?

Is your daily life inconvenienced by the construction at the Landmark Center site, or has the project impacted you very little?

Sometimes it feels like every corner of the Fenway-Kenmore neighborhood is under construction. In the last few years and months, there's been a giant new bus station built in Kenmore Square, there's a hotel going up on Brookline Avenue, and there are multiple apartment complexes that have started construction this spring.

Not in the least of these construction woes is the work going on at the Muddy River site in the area of the rotary near Landmark Center. What was once a grassy field will once again become a river, and traffic will be rerouted around the area to hopefully ease some of the regular congestion.

But to get there, it will take years, and in the meantime, we've all got to deal with the construction sounds, noise, traffic and inconvenience. So, how are you holding up so far? Has the project done a good job at minimizing impact to the neighborhood? What do you think? Tell us in the comments.
