Overdose Leads to Death at House of Blues
Police are investigating the circumstances of three overdoses at the House of Blues, one of them fatal.

One person is dead and two others are injured from an apparent overdose at the House of Blues (15 Lansdowne St.) early Wednesday morning. Â
Police have not released the name of the victim, but police said the deceased was a 19-year-old woman from New Hampshire.Â
Police responded to the House of Blues at 12:45 a.m. for a call that three individuals had been transported to Beth Israel hospital, apparently suffering from an overdose. Police are awaiting results of a toxicology test to attempt to determine what substance was taken.
Investigators said that the three victims did not previously know each other.Â
"The investigation is ongoing and toxicological screens will be necessary to determine whether the deceased overdosed, as investigators currently believe, and if so then on what," said a spokesperson for the District Attorney's office.
No one has been charged at this time.
The House of Blues hosted electronic DJ Zedd on Tuesday night, the first of two shows at the House of Blues this week. The second show, scheduled to be held on Wednesday night, has been cancelled.Â
