Sounds of the Garden Free Concert Series
The final concert of the Sounds of the Garden Wednesday series will get you singing along to old and new American folk and blues tunes with Lloyd Thayer on the resonator guitar and harmonica.  Bring along a chair or blanket and invite friends to warm night of feel-good music at the Mission Hill Community Garden! Boston Landmarks Orchestra Concert
Check out a free concert at the Hatch Shell on Wednesday night by the Boston Landmarks Orchestra. Called "Fiesta sinfónica: A Night in the Tropics," the music will be inspired by Latin-American song and dance spanning over 150 years. See here for more information.Â

Home for Little Wanderers Drive
The Home for Little Wanderers’ annual Back-to-School Drive kicks off on August 1 and will run through September 9, 2013. As the nation’s oldest child and family service agency and one of New England’s largest, The Home touches the lives of more than 7,000 children and families living in at-risk circumstances each year. Starting August 1, all donations of new backpacks and school supplies for youth of all ages can be mailed to or dropped off at 271 Huntington Ave.Â
