Things to Know in Fenway-Kenmore, June 19: Community Day Festival at Wheelock

1. Weather: The National Weather Service is predicting a sunny day, with a high near 74 degrees.
2. Wheelock's Community Day: Wheelock College (200 Riverway) is hosting a “Gift to the Community” cultural festival today from 3 – 7 p.m. The free festival is open to the public and features a performance from Grammy-certificate winning singer Maya Azucena, cultural performances, global food, theater and activties for kids and adults alike. 3. Juneteeth at MFA: The Museum of Fine Arts, in partnership with Future Boston Alliance will commemorate the end of slavery in America today at 5 p.m. The event will feature an exhibition of Boston artists, a commemorative address from State Representative Bryon Rushing, a gallery tour of "African American Artists through a Modern Lens," a meet up in Taste Café and Wine Bar, and more. 4. Urban Chickens: The Boston Redevelopment Authority will host a Twitter chat on the new proposed urban agriculture rules today from 12-1 p.m. Use the hashtag #UrbanAgBOS to ask questions and provide feedback on the proposal. More details can be found here: http://patch.com/A-4HZH.
