2 In Foxborough Caught With Stolen Gun: Police

Police said they found a loaded Glock 23 handgun in the car and determined it was stolen.

FOXBOROUGH, MA — Foxborough officers arrested two people during a traffic stop after police said they found a stolen gun in the car.

Sedrick Denis, 32, and Ingrid Nelson, 44, were charged with unlawfully carrying a loaded firearm without a license, possession of a large capacity firearm, improper storage of a firearm and receiving stolen property. Nelson was also charged with being an accessory after the fact.

The arrests happened around 10 a.m. when a Foxborough officer stopped Nelson's vehicle after recognizing Denis as a passenger. Police said Denis had a warrant out for his arrest on several charges of receiving a stolen firearm.

Both Denis and Nelson were scheduled to be arraigned in Wrentham District Court Tuesday.
