CBS Scene Is Now CBS Sporting Club

FOXBOROUGH, MA — Forget the scene, it's all about the club down at Patriot Place.

The Kraft Group, CBS, and Big Night Entertainment Group announced Wednesday that CBS Scene will now go by the name CBS Sporting Club and will reopen as a modern gastro sports pub. The restaurant closed Feb. 12 for renovations.

Big Night Entertainment Group, which operates the Scorpion Bar at Patriot Place, will be the new management group for the restaurant.

“Ed Kane and his talented team at BNEG have done an excellent job in taking the CBS sports and entertainment concept at Patriot Place to the next level in hospitality and we cannot wait to unveil this new space to our guests later this summer,” Patriot Place Vice President and General Manager Brian Earley said in a release. “We believe the many improvements made to the restaurant’s design, menu and technology will make CBS Sporting Club the region’s premier sports and entertainment viewing destination.”

The renovated space offers 6,000 square feet of space with a new aesthetic and modern design, 290 seats with stadium-style seating, an expansive indoor bar, and updated outdoor patio and bar. Guests can catch all the game day action on CBS Sporting Club’s custom 25-foot LED TV, and multiple HD TVs scattered throughout. The space is also equipped with a top of the line sound system designed by Sound Investment, according to a release.

The menu includes a variety of dishes and shareable plates featuring fresh, bold ingredients with a modern twist on New England classics. Guests can enjoy menu items like creamy clam chowder, lobster roll, flatbreads, Wagyu burger and more. The beverage program offers traditional and newly crafted cocktails as well as carefully selected beer and wine lists.

CBS Sporting Club opens in July and will hold a job fair May 23 from 1 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m.
