Coronavirus MA: These Major Retailers Have Closed Temporarily
Dozens of major retailers in Massachusetts, including Macy's and IKEA, have decided to temporarily close due to the new coronavirus.
Dozens of national or major retailers with locations in Massachusetts have announced they will temporarily close all stores as a precautionary measure against the new coronavirus outbreak.
Some of the major retailers include: IKEA, Kohl's, Apple, J.C. Penney, Dick's Sporting Goods, Old Navy and Nordstrom.
Javier Quiñones, IKEA retail U.S. president, said in a statement that unprecedented times call for unprecedented measures.

"This is the most responsible way IKEA can continue to care for our co-workers and our customers in a manner that is healthy and safe," Quiñones said. "We are taking our role in containing this epidemic seriously, and we recognize the positive impact our actions could have on making life better for the millions of people who have been impacted by this crisis."

- Dick’s Sporting Goods: closed with curbside pickup only from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. through April 2
- Macy’s: through March 31,
- TJX Companies: through March 31
- Hallmark: through April 2
- Claire's: through April 2
- JC Penney: through April 2
- Crate & Barrel: through March 31
- IKEA
- Gap: through April 2
- Old Navy: through April 2

- Victoria’s Secret: through March 29
