Daylight Saving Time 2013: Turn Clocks Forward Tonight
Residents are reminded to set their clocks forward one hour when they go to bed tonight for the 2 a.m. time change Sunday to begin daylight saving time.

Tonight's the night for Massachusetts to set clocks forward one hour.
Like 47 other states, Massachusetts will "spring forward" one hour at 2 a.m. Sunday - losing an hour of sleep - when daylight saving time begins.

The only states that do not observe daylight saving time are Hawaii and most of Arizona.
Fire officials and FEMA also urged people to use the semi-annual clock changing exercise as a reminder to remove and replace batteries for smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors and evacuation flashlights. Â Â

While changing batteries be sure to check that the device has not passed any expiration date, and clearing dust from slots or sensors, the agencies said.
