Foxboro Mexican Restaurant Donates 300 Meals To Families In Need

The donated meals were distributed to local families through the Hockomock Area YMCA's Food Access program.

FOXBOROUGH, MA — A Mexican restaurant in Foxborough donated 300 meals to the Hockomock Area YMCA to help local families in need.

Achilito's Taqueria, a family-owned restaurant at Patriot Place, prepared and delivered the meals, including 150 chicken bowls, 100 beef bowls and 50 vegetarian bowls. The donated meals were distributed to local families through the Hockomock Area YMCA’s Food Access program.

"At Achilito's, we have a deep passion for giving back and supporting members of the surrounding community," owner Margaret Pimentel said. "We were honored to partner with the Hockomock Area YMCA to have the opportunity to donate and deliver these 300 meals to local families in need."

Patriot Place also acknowledged Achilito's donation. Brian Earley, the shopping plaza's vice president, said Pimentel's donation was "truly commendable."

"All of us at Patriot Place greatly appreciate their donation of meals to these local families in need and are incredibly proud to have Achilito’s as part of the Patriot Place family," Earley said.
