Foxborough Early Voting Starts Soon: Key Election Dates

FOXBOROUGH, MA — If you would like to get this election over quickly, you're in luck. Early voting in Massachusetts will begin soon for about two weeks ahead of the Nov. 3 election.

In 2020, voters will of course be choosing a president, but also a U.S. Senator, state-level offices and deciding several statewide ballot questions.

If you voted in the September primary, you probably got a good idea of what the general election will look like. Voters concerned about coronavirus will be allowed to apply for absentee ballots to avoid in-person voting. Otherwise, in-person voting will take place in two parts: early voting between Oct. 17 and Oct. 30, and regular Election Day voting on Nov. 3.

Early voting will take place this year at Town Hall at 40 South Street., during these hours:

• Saturday, October 17 & 24: 8:00 a.m. to noon
• Sunday, October 18 & 25: 8:00 a.m. to noon
• Monday, October 19 & 26: 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
• Tuesday, October 20 & 27: 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
• Wednesday, October 21 & 28: 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
• Thursday, October 22 & 29: 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
• Friday, October 23 & 30: 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Here are other key election dates in Massachusetts to be aware of:

• Oct. 24 — Last day to register to vote ahead of the Nov. 3 election. You can register online, by mail or in-person at the clerk's office.
• Oct. 28 — Last day to apply by mail for an absentee (mail-in) ballot.
• Nov. 2 — Last day to apply in person for an absentee (mail-in) ballot.
