Fundraising efforts were severely impacted due to the COVID-19 pandemic. If the Foxboro Jaycees win, the $10,000 will be used to help ensure its annual programs will be intact. Important goals for 2021-2022 include expanding Junior Jaycees to involve more younger children in service projects, hosting sexual abuse awareness workshops to educate adults in the community who volunteer with service organizations as mentors or coaches and organizing a community 9/11 memorial event to recognize 20 years.

"We are grateful for this amazing consideration and honored to partner with our local D’Angelo restaurant in raising awareness for the Foxboro Jaycees, an organization that has been making a difference in Foxboro since 1989," said Kris Long, the executive director of community development for the Foxboro Jaycees.
