Foxborough Papa Gino's Gets Beer And Wine License

The Foxborough Selectmen approved a beer and wine license for the local Papa Gino's

FOXBOROUGH, MA — The local Papa Gino's became Foxborough's newest place to get a beer or glass of wine with your pizza, following the Board of Selectmen's approval of its on premise alcohol license. The restaurant at 211 North St. had alcohol years ago, but wasn't making enough money at the time to keep the license. But with beer growing in popularity, especially craft beer, the restaurant manager Joanne Northrop said Papa Gino's wants to try again.

"The popularity of beer and wine is growing in light of the fact that there's a lot of interest in beer as a culture and wine in the tasting part," Town Manager William Keegan said. "A lot of people like it, especially with Papa Gino's pizza and wine and beer, they pretty much go hand in hand."

The on premise annual wine and malt beverage license was one of two Foxborough had available.
