Foxborough’s Annual Household Hazardous Waste Day Set for Saturday
The annual event will be held from 9 a.m. to noon at the town's Highway Garage.

Foxborough will be holding its annual household hazardous waste collection day on Saturday, May 4th at the Highway Garage from 9 a.m. to noon.
Proof of residency is required to participate in the household hazardous waste day.
The following items will be accepted:

- Arts & crafts supplies
- Dry cleaning fluids
- Furniture cleaning polish
- Drain cleaners
- Oven cleaners
- Floor cleaners
- Metal polish
- Fluorescent bulbs
- Thermometers
- Lighter fluids
- Rechargeable batteries
From the garage:
- Motor oil
- Engine degreaser
- Brake fluid
- Gasoline
- Antifreeze
- Auto batteries
- Waste fuels (kerosene)
- Transmission fluid
- Car wax
- Driveway sealer
From the yard:

- Cesspool cleaners
- Pool chemicals
- Insecticides
- Solvents – adhesives
From the workbench:
- Stains – varnishes – strippers
- Oil based paints only
- Wood preservatives

The following items will not be accepted:
- Latex paint
- Explosive materials: Ammunition, fireworks and explosives
- Propane tanks
- Smoke detectors
- Fire extinguishers
- Gas cylinders
- Prescription medicines and syringes
- Medical waste
- Commercial / industrial waste
- Asbestos and asbestos products
A reminder that motor oils can be brought to the Highway Garage Monday thru Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. Oil based paints/thinners/stains can be brought to the Highway Garage on Mondays from 7:30 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.
