FOXBOROUGH, MA — A Massachusetts State Police trooper from the Foxborough barracks helped deliver a baby girl over the weekend after a woman went into labor while she was traveling on Interstate 95 in Canton.
Around 7 a.m., Sunday, Trooper Jordan Cavaco was on patrol near exit 12 when he was flagged down by the father flashing his high beams and hazard lights.
Cavaco instructed the man to pull over at the highway split at I-95 and Interstate 93. State Police said he then called for an ambulance, got his medical bag and OBGYN kit and jumped into action.
