Foxborough Town Election: 15 People Declare Intention To Run
The Foxborough election slate is taking shape, with 15 candidates pulling papers for town wide office ahead of the May election.

FOXBOROUGH, MA — If you're thinking about running for office in Foxborough, you have until March 15 to take out and return nomination papers for the May 3 town election, according to the town clerk's office. So far, 15 people have declared an interest in running for town wide office.
So far, three candidates for Board of Selectmen have taken out nomination papers to run: Robert Palie, Seth Ferguson and Selectwoman Leah Gibson. Selectmen member Christopher Mitchell's term expires in 2021, and though he hasn't taken out nomination papers as of March 11, there's still time for the candidates to signal their intent to run for another three-year term.
Candidates have also taken out nomination papers to run for the School Committee, Board of Health, Board of Assessors, Library Trustee, Water and Sewer Commission, Housing Authority and Planning Board.
