Foxborough Town Election: See Who Made The Ballot

A contested race for Foxborough School Committee will headline the town election on May 3.

It appeared the selectmen race may have also been contested, but candidate Robert Palie didn't submit his nomination papers, and Selectman Christopher Mitchell never took out papers to re-run.

FOXBOROUGH, MA — The deadline to submit nomination papers has passed, and 14 candidates will be on the ballot for Foxborough's annual town election.

On May 3, there will be just one contested race, as three candidates vie for two seats on the School Committee. Incumbent Richard Pearson will have to defend his seat against two challengers: Salina Chowdhury and Sarah Lidonni.

It appeared the selectmen race may have also been contested, but candidate Robert Palie didn't submit his nomination papers, and Selectman Christopher Mitchell never took out papers to re-run. Now, just incumbent Leah Gibson and former Advisory Board Member Seth Ferguson remain with residents selecting two.
