George Strait And Blake Shelton Set August Concert Date
Strait, the "King of Country," is unretiring to go on the road with Shelton.

Country superstar George Strait officially retired five years ago, but he's going back on the road this summer, sharing the stage with that unretired superstar, Blake Shelton.
The two artists posted a hilarious Instagram message to announce the tour, which comes to Foxborough's Gillette Stadium on Aug. 17:

Strait, long known as "The King of Country," has sold more than 100 million records in a career spanning more than three decades. Over the years he amassed a long list of honors and accolades, including being named country's Artist of the Decade for the 2000s by the Academy of Country Music. He put a record 44 No. 1 singles on the country charts.
Shelton, best known as one of the celebrity judges on NBC's "The Voice," has had 24 No. 1 singles, including 17 consecutive, the longest streak in the history of country music charts. He has sold more than 30 million singles and notched 1.7 billion streams.
