Indian Kebab And Sandwich Shop Coming To Foxborough
Babu G's Gourmet Kebobs and Sandwiches will bring northern Indian inspired takeout to Foxborough.
FOXBOROUGH, MA — A new restaurant with northern Indian inspired kebobs and sandwiches is expected to open in town in the coming weeks. The Board of Selectmen approved the license for Babu G's Gourmet Kebobs and Sandwiches to open at 29 Washington St., at their meeting Tuesday night.
The restaurant is owned by the same family who runs Singh's Cafe in Wellesley. But this location will be much smaller. It has 20 seats inside, but the sandwich shop expects to get most of their business through take-out on Patriots game days and delivery services like Uber Eats and Doordash.
Following the selectmen's approval, Babu G's still needs the Board of Health to sign off on the restaurant. Pending the boards' approval, the owner hopes to open Babu G's in two to three weeks.
